1801: Creation of printed fabrics company "Schwartz, Hoffer & Cie"
1868: Business in wool dyeing "F.A. Dollfus, Fils & Cie"
1878: Dyeing company.
1918: Installation of spinning and weaving workshops. Creation of "Buhl Soieries" company.
1931: "T.B.C" (Teinture et blanchiment de Cernay). Bleaching and dyeing of cotton fabrics.
1945: Activity is focused on home textile and imitated leather.
1962: T.B.C. becomes a "Schaeffer & Cie" companies’ subsidiary.
1968: Activities change into woven and knitted fabrics bleaching and dyeing.
1994: T.B.C. becomes a textile finishing subcontractor company
1998: Buying out of T.B.C by S.I.A.T. (Société Industrielle Altkirchoise de Textile)
2012: Strategic focus on technical finishings
Creation of ETC : Ennoblissement Technique de Cernay.
